Safeguarding

Guildford Diocese Church of England Safeguarding Policy

We have adopted the Church of England’s House of Bishops’ Promoting a Safer Church Safeguarding Policy Statement.

Safeguarding is one of our main priorities as a church. We want everyone, both adults and children, to feel safe when they visit us. Safeguarding good practice in church helps us to develop a culture of care underpinned by God’s unconditional love and welcome for all.

We are committed to Safeguarding Children, Young People, Victims/Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse and Vulnerable Adults.

We have adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding which may be found on the Church of England website (https://www.churchofengland.org/safeguarding) and on the Diocese of Guildford Safeguarding Website: https://www.cofeguildford.org.uk/parish-support/safeguarding
